Biography
Red Light in June's music is catchy and relevant melodic rock, with lyrics that appeal to people of all ages and walks of life. Performing at some of the best venues in the Western Cape, the band has gained a big reputation for themselves, playing at events with the likes of Parlotones, Fokofpolisiekar, Flat Stanley, Foto na Dans, 12th Avenue, The Dirty Skirts, etc. An interview and live performance on SABC2 "Hectic 9" in February 2009 as well as performing at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town in November 2009, has helped to give the band exposure to the broader market.
In 2008, Red Light in June released their album "My Sweetest Revenge".
